Dr. Mohamed Abdalhameed Alnor is a Consultant Psychiatrist at ACPN. Dr. Alnor completed his clinical MD degree in psychiatry from the Sudan Medical Specialization Board and holds a master's degree in molecular medicine from the University of Khartoum. He is licensed as a consultant psychiatrist with the DoH, Abu Dhabi and with the MoH in Saudi Arabia.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. Alnor has been a part of various renowned psychiatric associations across the region. He brings with him a wealth of expertise from his previous role at Eradah Complex for Mental Health in Abha, Saudi Arabia. He has significant experience from Taha Baasher Teaching Hospital, Sudan's first psychiatric hospital, and has held academic positions at the University of Khartoum and Mashreq University. His research in psychiatry genetics has been presented at international conferences, marking him as a pioneer in this field in the Arab world. His specialization covers a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, compulsive disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, substance use disorder, and various types of dementia.
