Dr. Rasha Mashmoushi is an Educational Psychologist at ACPN. Dr. Mashmoushi earned her Doctorate Degree in Applied Educational Psychology from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2010, and her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Bristol, UK in 2005. She is a licensed Psychologist in Dubai.
With over a decade of post-doctoral experience, Dr. Rasha Mashmoushi held clinical, directorship, and academic positions at clinics, hospitals as well as educational settings in the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Lebanon. Her previous work experience included a Clinical Director position, and an Educational Psychologist position at the American University of Beirut Medical Center for five years, She directed Academic Support Services at the Dar Al Hekma University in KSA for four years until 2017 while also practicing privately as an Educational Psychologist. Her role in the UK as an Educational Psychologist involved carrying out various psychological and cognitive assessments as well as development of effective IEPs to support children’s learning, social, behavioral, and emotional needs.
Dr. Mashmoushi’s clinical expertise involves assessing and identifying intellectual and cognitive abilities while also addressing deficits to help children and adolescents learn and develop as they grow. She works with systemic practices in organizations to improve and meet individualized needs of children with neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Mashmoushi is specialized in carrying out diagnostic neurodevelopmental and psycho-educational assessments and received training in conducting dynamic assessments, and Cognitive Abilities Profile (CAP). She also works with individuals diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) in improving their cognitive and functional skills.
