Ms. Yara Debbas Tabet is a clinical psychologist at ACPN. She holds a Master’s degree and post-graduate diploma in Clinical Psychology (DESS) from Ecole des Psychologues Praticiens, Paris (1997), specializing in psychopathology, as well as a further diploma in Child Psychiatry (DU) from Université René Descartes-Paris 5 (2003). Ms. Tabet is a member of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA) and the Lebanese Association for the Development of Psychoanalysis (ALDeP) with an active role in its Ethical commission.
Ms. Tabet has over two decades of experience in the field of psychology. Her career began in Paris, where she worked for several years as a child and adolescent psychotherapist in private practice and within childcare institutions. Relocating to Lebanon in 2010, she expanded her practice into adult psychoanalysis. Over the years, she gained expertise in providing in-depth therapy to adults, adolescents, and children, addressing a wide range of psychological and relational challenges.
Ms. Tabet’s clinical expertise includes working with adults having conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, grief, and addiction. She also works on post-partum depression as well as managing the early stages of the mother-child relationship. Her professional interest is deeply informed by psychoanalytic theory, particularly the work of Wilfred Bionin relation to attachment, dependency, and trauma. She is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for clients in navigating emotional and psychological challenges; enabling them to achieve greater personal insight and well-being.
