Lana Saffarini

Ms. Lana Saffarini is a Clinical Psychologist at ACPN Dubai. She earned her Master of Clinical Psychology from UAE University in 2024, and a Bachelor of Psychology from Zayed University in 2021 making it to the Dean’s List on both. She is licensed with the DHA in Dubai.

With a strong foundation in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic intervention, Ms. Saffarini gained experience across mental health, early learning, and clinical rehabilitation settings. She worked at prominent institutions including Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital, Lifeworks Holistic Counseling Centre, and Al Ain Punitive and Reformatory Establishment supporting assessment and intakes, case formulation, treatment planning, documentation and reporting, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Ms. Saffarini’s clinical interests include working with clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, emotional and behavioral concerns, and learning difficulties including ADHD, dyslexia, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She conducts standardized psychological assessments including the MMPI, Conners’ ADHD Scales, WAIS, and WISC and applies therapeutic interventions informed by techniques like CBT, trauma-informed care, and emotional regulation methods. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered, and focused on creating a safe space where they feel heard, understood, and supported in building strength and resilience to cope with challenges and achieve lasting mental wellbeing.
