Jumana Bataineh

Ms. Jumana Bataineh is an Occupational Therapist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan, in 2018. Her university training included pediatric, psychiatric, physical dysfunction, geriatric, and community rehabilitation settings. She is a licensed OT by DoH, Abu Dhabi.

With seven years of clinical experience, Ms. Bataineh worked in school-based occupational therapy in Jordan and the UAE. In her school-based role at Royal Health Group in Abu Dhabi, she assessed students' classroom and daily-living needs, developed therapy plans, monitored progress, and coordinated with pediatricians, psychologists, speech therapists, and families. Earlier, she worked with Arqam and Horoof for Educational & Consultations in Amman in cooperation with Mercy Corps, supporting the inclusion of students with disabilities through assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up at school and home.

Ms. Bataineh works with children who experience attention and concentration difficulties, distractibility, academic or cognitive challenges, high activity levels, pencil-grip difficulties, and challenges with dressing, eating, or toileting. Her clinical interests include school participation, self-care, fine-motor skills, and functional independence. She uses collaborative, goal-based occupational therapy to help children participate more independently in classroom routines and daily activities.
