Buthynah Ateyah

Ms. Buthynah Ateyah is an Occupational Therapist at ACPN, Abu Dhabi. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Jordan, in 2017. She holds active DOH and DHA licenses as an Occupational Therapist to practice in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

With over nine years of clinical experience, Ms. Ateyah has developed strong expertise in pediatric rehabilitation, with additional experience in adult physical and neurological rehabilitation across inpatient and outpatient settings in the UAE and Jordan. Her professional background includes roles at Kids Heart Medical Center Abu Dhabi where she worked for two years prior to joining ACPN in 2026. Before moving to the UAE in 2024, she practiced occupational therapy for seven years across clinical rehabilitation and community-based settings in Jordan. Her work includes comprehensive assessment, goal setting, individualized intervention planning, caregiver education, home program development, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Ms. Ateyah is skilled to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, cerebral palsy, learning and intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and syndromic conditions such as Down Syndrome. Her clinical skillset includes hand injury intervention, early intervention planning for developmental disorders, parent–clinic collaboration, and professional training for clinical and educational teams. She applies evidence-based strategies including sensory integration, inclusive education, environmental adaptations, adult physical rehabilitation, managing neurological cases, splinting, and hand injury recovery. Her approach is aimed at practically applying OT strategies that are family-centered and focused on improving functional independence, participation, and quality of life across home, school, clinic, and community settings.
