Bashar Qaga is an Occupational Therapist at ACPN. He completed his bachelor’s degree in
occupational therapy from The Hashemite University in Jordan in 2015. He holds a diploma in
the field of health and safety from the University of Sharjah in the UAE, and he is currently
completing the requirements for sensory integration (SI) certification from USC Sensory
Integration Continuing Education Certificate Program at University of Southern California USA.
Mr. Qaga is a licensed therapist with the Ministry of Health Jordan, Ministry of Health &
Prevention United Arab Emirates, and the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi.
Mr. Qaga has over seven years of experience as occupational therapist in Jordan and the UAE
particularly in children’s therapy and rehabilitation. Before joining ACPN in 2023, Mr. Qaga was
Occupational Therapist at Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services for seven years. Gaining his
initial experience in Jordan, Mr. Qaga worked as OT at the Autism Academy of Jordan before
moving to the UAE in 2015.
With a passion for understanding children’s developmental needs, he has a keen interest in
working on clients with sensory processing disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, Down
syndrome, learning difficulties, developmental disabilities, cerebral palsy, and other rare chronic
conditions affecting mobility. He conducts evaluations and assessments such as SIPT, VMI,
SPDMS2 sensory profile, Bruininks (BOT-2) to help make informed decisions in a patient’s
treatment plan. Working with a pediatric population he is well-experienced in evaluating a range
of mobility and occupational conditions in many different settings. He has undertaken ongoing
professional training, including the Training of Trainers, NDTA, and measuring and choosing the
right wheelchair for patients.
