Ms. Ghislaine Boustany is a Psychologist and Psychotherapist at ACPN. Ms. Boustany completed a Specialized Higher Diploma in Clinical Psychology and Pathology from Saint Joseph University, Lebanon in 1998 and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 1995. She is a licensed Psychologist in Abu Dhabi and Lebanon.
Ms. Boustany has more than 20 years of experience in the field of clinical therapy in educational settings, and is an advocate for mental health, therapy and selfcare. Before joining ACPN, she worked at Collège des Frères Maristes, Lebanon as a Clinical Psychologist and Inclusion Coordinator for 22 years until 2022. More recently, she was also responsible for the Train the Teacher Program at General Secretariat of Catholic Schools in Lebanon since 2021. In the wake of the recent developments since 2020, Ms.Boustany led various initiatives in mental health support for those affected by the COVID19 pandemic and the political and economic unrest in Beirut. Ms. Boustany was a former delegate to UNESCO contributing to the framework of the creation of an international network for drug prevention. She is an expert in substance abuse treatment in rehabilitation centers. She worked in implementing inclusion projects for students with
special needs and is a group therapy specialist.
Ms. Boustany uses integrative approaches in Psychology and Psychotherapy. She is skilled at working with teenagers and adults with special conditions such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, panic attacks, OCD, personality disorders, trauma, substance abuse, relationship, and family issues.
