Dr. Noha Youssef Shalaby is a Specialist in Psychiatry at ACPN, Abu Dhabi. She holds a Master’s degree in Neuropsychiatry from Ain Shams University, Egypt obtained in 2011, following her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2004 from the same institution. She is a licensed psychiatrist with DoH, Abu Dhabi.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Shalaby practiced psychiatry across Egypt and the UAE. She began her career at Abbassia Mental Health Hospital, Egypt in 2006 emergency psychiatry, outpatient and inpatient services for adults, adolescents, and children. She has been practicing in Abu Dhabi since 2015 at Mediclinic, where she managed a wide range of psychiatric conditions in outpatient and multidisciplinary hospital settings including liaison psychiatry working with medical, surgical, and ICU patients. Her work includes clinical assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and collaboration with medical teams to support comprehensive patient care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
Dr. Shalaby specializes in the management of mood disorders, anxiety and phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), psychotic disorders, eating disorders, and stress-related conditions including fibromyalgia and attention-deficit. She has a professional interest in adolescent psychiatry and women’s health. She adopts a patient-centered approach that applies psychopharmacology and psychotherapy hand-in-hand, while placing strong emphasis on culturally sensitive care and sustained long-term mental health and wellbeing.
