Amina Shalan

Ms. Amina Shalan is a Speech Therapist at ACPN Al Ain. She earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2022 from the University of Mysore, India, following her Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology in 2020 from Mangalore University, India. She is a DOH-licensed SLT.

With over four years of clinical experience in hospital and rehabilitation settings in the UAE and India, Ms. Shalan worked with diverse populations including children and adults. She provided speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia therapy in inpatient and outpatient settings. She worked at True Life Specialty Hospital, and Noubel Rehabilitation Center Al Ain since 2023, and joined the team at ACPN in 2026. Her experience includes managing articulation and language delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, aphasia, traumatic brain injury, and swallowing disorders. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure therapy outcomes are achieved from a functional and practical perspective.

Ms. Shalan is specialized in early intervention, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, voice therapy, dysphagia management, and neurological conditions affecting speech. She applies play-based therapy, AAC strategies, and educates caregivers and families in supporting long-term functional communication and independence.
