Ms. Shruti Joshi is an Occupational Therapist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in 2019, after completing her Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy with honors from the University of Pretoria in 2006. Ms. Joshi holds clinical practice registration with the HPCSA, and DoHAbu Dhabi. She is certified in Ayres Sensory Integration as well as Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), both internationally recognized modalities.
With over 18 years of experience, Ms. Joshi worked across diverse therapeutic settings including hospitals, private clinics, and school-based programs in South Africa. Her clinical experience spans psychiatric, pediatric, and adult rehabilitation contexts working with multidisciplinary teams. She is experienced in individual and group therapy, developing tailored home programs, and conducting parent and teacher workshops. Her recent roles include delivering inclusive therapy services at Pretoria Preparatory School and running her own private practice, where she managed caseloads involving children, teenagers, and adults with cognitive, sensory, and emotional challenges. On the education side, she played a supervisory role for final-year OT students.
Ms. Joshi specializes in supporting individuals with sensory processing disorders, dyspraxia, learning difficulties, developmental delays, stress and anxiety, and ADHD. She takes a holistic, client-centered approach that integrates sensory integration, cognitive and motor skills training, and trauma-informed care. Ms. Joshi is passionate about supporting children and families through therapy and education, andstrives to help them reach their fullest potential.
