Dr. Nuha Elsadig Ahmed Hussein is a Clinical Psychologist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. She holds a PhD in Psychology earned in 2010, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology earned in 2002, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology in 1999 from the University of Khartoum, Sudan. She also earned an Advanced Diploma in Contemporary Psychotherapy in 2016 from the Beeleaf Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, United Kingdom. She holds active memberships with American Psychological Association, Sudanese Psychologist Association, and the British Psychological Society among others. She is a DOH-licensed practitioner in Abu Dhabi.
With over 20 years of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Elsadig worked across hospitals, rehabilitation centers, universities, and community mental health settings in the UAE and Sudan. She served as Head of the Psychology Department at Berlin Medical and Neurological Rehabilitation Center, as well as Aspris Al Kalma Holdings in Abu Dhabi. She also held academic appointments as Assistant Professor and Adjunct Assistant Professor in clinical psychology with prominent institutions including Abu Dhabi University and previously with Ahfad University for Women Sudan, Abdulrahman Alsumait University Tanzania, and Hedmark University College Norway. Her role comprehensively involved psychological assessments, psychotherapy for adults and children, trauma-focused interventions, supervision of postgraduate trainees, curriculum development, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Dr. Elsadig specializes in managing trauma-related disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, PTSD, and complex psychosocial conditions. She integrates evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and Behavioral Therapy approaches. Her approach emphasizes culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care, resilience building, and sustained psychological rehabilitation.
