Mr. Tonderai Masara is a Counseling Psychologist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. He earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Great Zimbabwe University, in 2022 and a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Psychology from Midlands State University, Zimbabwe, in 2014. He is a licensed psychologist with the DoH, Abu Dhabi, and AHPC, Zimbabwe.
With over four years of clinical experience, Mr. Masara worked with the Identity Consultancy, Zimbabwe before joining ACPN in 2026. His role involved conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnosis, and interventions across the lifespan in areas of children’s health, couples and family counseling, and corporate wellness including employee assistance programs, stress debriefing and critical incident awareness and management, as well as mental health awareness programs.
Mr. Masara specializes in neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and learning difficulties, as well as anxiety disorders, mood dysregulation, trauma-related conditions, and personality-related challenges. He applies an integrative therapeutic approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and systemic modalities across child, adolescent, and adults. His trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach enables those in his care to build resilience, relationships, and achieve sustainable growth in their mental health and wellbeing.
