Dr. Abeer Toson Ahmed Nasr is a Psychologist at ACPN, with a comprehensive educational
background in clinical psychology from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 2005 which then culminated
with a Ph.D. in psychology in 2010. She is a licensed psychologist with MoH, Egypt and DoH, Abu
Dhabi.
Over 16 years of professional experience has seen Dr. Toson working in varied mental health
settings, from hospitals and clinics to rehabilitation centers in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Her
roles have included significant positions such as a clinical psychologist for the Egyptian Ministry of
Health and a supervisory role at Islamic Relief Worldwide, a UK-affiliated early rehabilitation center,
underscoring her expertise in behavioral treatments for children with developmental disabilities. Dr.
Toson’s relocation to Saudi Arabia in 2010 expanded her career into academia and mental health
advocacy, serving as an assistant professor and managing a student counseling unit at Imam
Abdulrahman bin Faisal University. Her contributions to mental health awareness through
workshops, published works, and participation in international conferences highlight her dedication
to the field.
Her specialized training spans CBT, DBT, and Gottman couples therapy, equipping her with a
diverse skill set for addressing a range of psychological conditions. In her extensive clinical practice,
Dr. Abeer Toson Ahmed Nasr provides individual and group therapy for a wide range of
psychological disorders across all age groups including psychotherapy for conditions such as
borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, learning disabilities, Autism,
ODD, MDD, as well as couples therapy and family-focused therapy. Moreover, Dr. Toson is an
expert in conducting psychological assessments for IQ, ADHD, learning disabilities, and various
personality and psychological disorders, owing to her comprehensive approach to mental health care.
