Ms. Josephine Attie Ghobril is a Psychologist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational and School Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Lebanese University. Furthermore, she completed clinical training in Psycho-Organic Analysis at the French School of Psycho-Organic Analysis (EFAPO), along with multiple professional certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from the Beck Institute (USA), trainings in Mindfulness and Self-Compassion, and advanced certification in Clinical Logotherapy accredited by the Viktor Frankl Institute (Austria & USA). Ms. Ghobril is a registered psychologist with DOH in Abu Dhabi. 

Starting her psychology career in 2004, Ms. Ghobril has two decades of experience working in Lebanon and Jordan in senior roles in clinical, academic, school, and community mental-health settings. In her last role, she served as a Consultant in Well-Being & Personal Development at Lycee Francais International Jordan since 2023, providing therapy for students, delivering psycho-educational workshops, and supporting families and educators. Prior to that, she was Head of the Psychology Department at College des Soeurs des Saints Coeurs, Lebanon since 2004, overseeing psychological services, crisis intervention, and student support programs while also managing a private clinic since 2017. She served as Vice-President of the NGO Genius Association for four years managing skill development and care for people of determination.  

Ms. Ghobril’s role has been to support individuals facing emotional, academic, behavioral, relational, and developmental challenges across all age groups. She is skilled in managing conditions such as anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation difficulties, depression, grief, and life-transition challenges, as well as behavioral and social-emotional difficulties in children and adolescents. Her approach involves helping clients with their self-confidence and independence and help in their personal development by dealing with trauma-related challenges, burnout, and interpersonal difficulties. She is a strong collaborator guiding families and parents, as well as working in multidisciplinary teams in clinics as well as school-based collaborations. She delivers psycho-education workshops, awareness programs, and well-being coaching to help the community develop an understanding about various mental health conditions.
