Dr. Doaa Elhariry is a Clinical Psychologist at ACPN Al Ain. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Utah, USA, awarded through a scholarship grant as a partnership with Zagazig University, Egypt in 2014. She earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology (2006) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Honors (2000) from Zagazig University, Egypt. She completed advanced certifications in FFT (FFT LLC, USA), Schema Therapy (ISTOS, Switzerland), CBT, and DBT. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with the MoH, Egypt and DOH, Abu Dhabi.
With two decades of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Elhariry worked across mental health settings including hospitals, clinics, and universities supporting adolescents and adults with a wide range of psychological concerns. She has experience working in leading institutions in Egypt including Al-Dar Hospital for Psychiatry, General Secretariat Mental Health and Addiction Treatment, as well as academic positions as Lecturer in Clinical Psychology with Zagazig University, Egypt.
Dr. Elhariry’s clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, stress-related and trauma-related conditions, as well as personality disorders, ranging from depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, behavioral and emotional concerns, and family counselling. She provides culturally sensitive, individualized, evidence-based treatment for adolescents, adults, and their families, focusing on resilience, functional recovery, and mental well-being through Schema Therapy, FFT, CBT, and DBT. She adopts an integrative, evidence-based approach, drawing on cognitive and behavioral frameworks to help clients develop insight into their emotions and improve their self-regulation capabilities and coping strategies. She is strongly committed to ethical, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered clinical practice.
