Ms. Adeela Khalid is a Clinical Psychologist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. She earned her MS in Clinical Psychology in 2012 as a Gold Medalist and her BS (Hons) in Clinical Psychology in 2010 with distinction from the University of the Punjab, Pakistan. She also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational and Business Psychology from the University of Liverpool, UK in 2025. She has advanced professional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, ADOS-2 assessment, mental health first aid (MHFA), and disaster response training for mental health workers. She is licensed with the DOH, Abu Dhabi.
With over 12 years of clinical and academic experience, Ms. Khalid worked across hospitals, rehabilitation centers, academic institutions, and corporate mental health settings in the UAE and Pakistan. She served as a Clinical Psychologist for 5 years within ADNOC’s integrated care model delivered by Response Plus Medical until 2026, with a total of 8 years of experience working in the UAE with prominent institutions including ACPN and Dots and Links Center. Her experience includes comprehensive psychological assessment, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, workplace mental health programs, and supervision of trainees, alongside academic contributions as a university lecturer and researcher with University of the Punjab, Pakistan.
Ms. Khalid is specialized in the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, stress-related conditions, and adjustment difficulties, as well as ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy, delivering individualized, culturally sensitive care that supports sustainable mental health outcomes.
