Ms. Maya Neji is an Occupational Therapist at ACPN. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the Higher School of Science and Technology of Tunis (ESSTST), Tunisia, in 2017. She is licensed by the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi. Ms. Neji holds professional certifications including the CLASI Ayres Sensory Integration Certificate (2022), the SOS Approach to Feeding (2023), and DIRFloortime® training (101 and 201) in 2024.
With over seven years of pediatric clinical experience, Ms. Neji began her professional journey in UAEin 2018working across clinical and educational settings such as Al Noor Center for Rehabilitation, Stars for Special Abilities, and Intercare Health Center. Her experience includes supporting children with a range of developmental, motor, and sensory challenges through in-depth evaluations, formulating personalized treatment plans, and delivering interventions through both individual and group sessions. She collaborates with educators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care through hands-on family and teacher education.
Ms. Neji’s clinical interests are focused on pediatric neurodevelopmental care using standardized techniques inoccupational play therapy, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and sensory integration therapy. She specializes in working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, Down syndrome, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, psychomotor delays, and learning difficulties. She is committed to evidence-based practice and family-centered care, aiming to promote each child’s independence through meaningful participationand improving their quality of life across home, school, and community settings.
