Sahar El Mubarak is a Clinical Psychologist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from United Arab Emirates University (2022) and an Honors degree in Counseling and Health Psychology from Ahfad University for Women, Sudan (2013). Ms. El Mubarak is licensed by the DoH, Abu Dhabi and registered with the Sudanese Council for Medical & Health Professionals. 

Starting out her career in psychology in 2015 in the UAE, she worked across varied roles in psychology. With an extensive background rooted in early intervention, she is skilled in psychological assessments, therapeutic intervention plans, and interdisciplinary care, Ms. El Mubarak has worked across various clinical settings ranging from clinical to educational. With her last appointment as a Clinical Psychologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, she developed individualized treatment plans for adolescents and adults using evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Previously, she worked at various private establishments across Al Ain and Abu Dhabi providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, conducting educational assessments and developing tailored therapeutic plans. Her clinical training at Al Ain and Tawam hospitals (2022-2023) equipped her with specialized skills in supporting patients with terminal illnesses such as cancer, and individuals with complex psychiatric disorders through individual and group therapy sessions. She is also skilled at psychological evaluations for legal proceedings, in facilitating multidisciplinary case discussions, and leading psychoeducational workshops.  

Ms. El Mubarak specializes in treating anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and mood disorders, with a focus on adult mental health, relationship challenges, and stress-related conditions including life transitions, relationships, and bereavement. She integrates CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches into her practice, helping improve emotional regulation and resilience. She is passionate about mental health awareness and accessibility, blending clinical and counselling psychology, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions and discover their personal growth and healing.
