He earned his PhD in Neurology from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1993, and furthered his expertise with a fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology from the University of Chicago and Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the USA. With over 35 years of experience in neurology, Dr. Hosny has managed a busy caseload in epilepsy and neurology clinics at Cairo University, Al Salam Hospital, alongside his private practice in Egypt. His career encompasses academic excellence, clinical practice, and governance, driven by a deep commitment to improving patients’ lives. He has also been instrumental in teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians in the field.
