He earned his PhD in Neurology from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1993, and furthered his expertise with a fellowship in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology from the University of Chicago and Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the USA. Dr. Hosny is a licensed physician in both Egypt and the UAE.
With over 35 years of experience in neurology, Dr. Hosny has managed a busy caseload in epilepsy and neurology clinics at Cairo University, Al Salam Hospital, alongside his private practice in Egypt. His career encompasses academic excellence, clinical practice, and governance, driven by a deep commitment to improving patients’ lives. He has also been instrumental in teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians in the field. In 2023, Dr. Hosny joined the ACPN team in the UAE as a consultant neurologist, bringing his wealth of experience.
