Mrs. Kim Ward is a Clinical Psychologist at ACPN. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon, earned in 2004, and an undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology in 2001. Mrs. Ward also holds licensure as a psychologist in both Lebanon and Abu Dhabi’s DOH.
Her career spanning over eighteen years is marked by significant contributions to the feild of clinical psychology. In 2007, she founded her private clinic in Lebanon, offering expert psychological therapeutic interventions to individuals across all age groups. During her thirteen- year tenure in educational settings, Mrs. Ward played a vital role as a Clinical Psychologist, significantly impacting students’ psychological well-being. Since 2019, she has also been a consultant for numerous international and local non-governmental organizations in Lebanon. She moved to Abu Dhabi in 2022, working at Maudsley Health, Abu Dhabi before moving to ACPN in 2023. She trained internationally in France and the UK, encompassing play-therapy, mentalization-based therapy for children, and the use of psychodynamic therapy approach across age groups.
Mrs. Ward’s professional focus is multifaceted in providing couple therapy, grief and loss therapy, family therapy and parental guidance; aiming to help individuals and families reduce their psychological distress through psychological intervention and support. She specializes in treating individuals diagnosed with anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depressive disorders, and behavioral disorders serving adults, adolescents, and children. Deeply committed to promoting mental well-being, Mrs. Ward provides compassionate and effective psychological support and accessibility to all, solidifying her commitment to the field.
