Dr. Yassine Bourouais is a Clinical Psychologist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Sophia Antipolis University of Nice, France, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology. He further specialized through university diplomas in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies and Child and Adolescent Psychopathology from prestigious institutions in France. He is licensed by the Department of Health (DoH) in Abu Dhabi. 

With over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Bourouais practiced extensively in France and the UAE, treating a wide spectrum of psychological, emotional, and relational difficulties. In France, he balanced clinical practice with academic duties, teaching Clinical Psychology at the university level. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at UAE University, contributing to domains of clinical practice, research, and education.  

Dr. Bourouais’s clinical expertise covers depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, sexual disorders, work-related stress, and relational conflicts in couples and families. His special interests include depression, anxiety and phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, stress management, relationship difficulties, and psychological diagnostics and assessments. He integrates evidence-based therapies into his approach, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Relaxation and Supportive Therapy, ensuring a holistic, and individualized care for each client. Dr. Bourouais is committed to helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families achieve emotional well-being with the highest ethical standards in guiding clinical practice.
