Dr. Ghada Ahmed is an Educational Psychologist at ACPN Abu Dhabi. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a specialization in developmental and educational psychology from Sudan, alongside a Diploma in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, USA. In addition to her advanced degrees, she completed several certifications in clinical and educational psychology. Dr. Ghada Ahmed is licensed by the Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi and the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai.
With over two decades of experience since 1999, Dr. Ghada Ahmed worked across educational, clinical, and governmental settings. She began her career as a specialist providing individual therapy services and later advanced to roles in assessment, diagnostics, and policy development within the Ministry of Education. Throughout her career, she contributed to creating guidelines and procedures for mental health services based on international standards. Her expertise spans psychological screening, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic intervention, early detection programs, and training specialists to enhance community support for individuals with disabilities. Her diverse background equipped her with comprehensive expertise in clinical and educational psychology, enabling her to address a wide range of psychological concerns.
Dr. Ghada Ahmed specializes in working with conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), behavioral disorders, and anger management. She also addresses learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, speech and language delays, and motor skill challenges. Dr. Ghada Ahmed strives to promote resilience, improve outcomes, and heighten awareness and acceptance within the broader community.
